Mr. A. Mobaraque, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the determination made in Monisa Khatun Vs. State of Assam reported in (2024) SCC OnLine Gau 1768 and in Farmud Ali Vs. State of Assam & Ors reported in 2026 SCC OnLine Gau 3402, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present case. Therefore, the writ petition may be closed.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, the present petition stands closed being infructuous.
