The challenge instituted was with regard to the appointment of the Assistant Public Prosecutor. Learned counsel has submitted that due to a subsequent development in the form of issuance of an advertisement by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, the present further action has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed on withdrawal, with liberty as prayed for.
