None appears for the petitioner despite the matter being called twice. Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel for the respondents is present.
It seems that on 14.07.2026 also, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. However, on the last occasion, i.e., 17.08.2026, the petitioner was represented and on the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was fixed today to enable the petitioner to file rejoinder. However, despite the matter being fixed today, the rejoinder has not been filed.
It is also to be noted that despite the matter having been called twice today, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It further appears that the names of the learned counsel for the petitioner are reflected in the cause list.
That being so, the matter stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
