The claimants Abbas Ali and Shaiful Islam in MAC Case No.121/2022 out of which, the present appeal arises are present with Mr. F. Hoque, learned counsel.

Ms. D. Biswas is present for the Insurance Company.

It has been submitted that the parties have come to a settlement for a total sum of Rs.16,94,000/- towards the full and final settlement of the compensation awarded by the learned Tribunal.

It has also been submitted that an amount of Rs.10,94,000/- has already been deposited before the Registry of this Court and the additional amount of Rs.6,00,000/- would be deposited by the appellant company within a period of 6

(six) weeks from today.

Accordingly, the appeal can be closed on settlement.

¶26

The liability of the Insurance Company be discharged before the Registry of this Court within a period of 6 (six) weeks on the deposit being made. The amount shall be disbursed to the claimants in accordance with the notification No.43 dated 26.06.2020.

The statutory deposit made by the appellant company shall be refunded with appropriate procedure.
