Ms. Bhanu Saikia Borah and Mr. B. Borah, the appellant/claimants before the learned Tribunal, along with Mr. A. U. Ahmed, learned counsel, are present. Ms. Hena Haflongbar, the representative of the New India Assurance Company Limited, is present.
It has been submitted that the claim has been settled for an additional amount of Rs. 2,10,000/-, over and above the original awarded amount of Rs. 7,36,069/-.
The claimants have already received an amount of Rs. 7,36,069/- and the additional amount of Rs. 2,10,000/- would now be paid by the insurance company.
The claimant No. 2, Mr. B. Borah, has submitted that he would have no objection if the enhanced amount is now credited to the account of his mother, namely, Ms. Bhanu Saikia Borah, who is the other claimant.
Accordingly, Ms. Bhanu Saikia Borah shall furnish her bank details to the insurance company to which the enhanced amount shall now be credited.
MAC Appeal is closed on settlement. TCR be returned.
A copy of the settlement shall be kept on record.
