This is an application under section 389 (2) Cr.P.C. for suspension of the sentence pursuant to the impugned judgement dated 09/03/2023 and order dated 13/03/2023 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Majuli, in Sessions Case No. 40 (JM)/2021, convicting the applicant under section 302 IPC.

As 23/06/2026 has been fixed for final hearing of the appeal, the counsels for the parties agree that the IA may be closed.

In view of the above submission, inasmuch as, the final hearing of the appeal has been fixed on 23/06/2026, the IA is accordingly disposed of as closed.
