Heard Mr. B. J. Mukherjee, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. A. Khanikar, learned counsel or the respondent.
The petitioner is seeking leave to file criminal appeal against acquittal aggrieved by the judgment and order dated 18.02.2026 passed by the learned Additional CJM, Bonaigaon in NICR Case No. 195/23 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Learned counsel for the submits that the applicant was the complainant and he contends that perhaps the acquittal was not justified and therefore, he may be allowed to prosecute this appeal.
Mr. Khanikar learned counsel submits that there is no infirmity in the impugned judgment passed by the learned trial court.
I have given my consideration in the matter.
In exercise of powers under 419(4) of BNSS, the leave is hereby granted to prefer the aforementioned criminal appeal.
I.A is accordingly disposed of.
