Heard Ms. B Parashar, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. NK Sarma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. HK Das, learned Senior counsel representing the Gauhati High Court, respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

This Interlocutory Application has been filed for condonation of the delay of 82 days in filing the connected appeal against the judgment dated 14.08.2025 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in WP(C) No. 1885/2024.

Perused the averments made in the application.

The learned counsel for the respondents submits that they have no instruction to object the present application.

¶25

After going through the averments made at paragraph Nos. 3,4,5,6 and 7 of the application, we are satisfied that good grounds have been assigned by the applicant/appellant for condoning the delay of 82 days in preferring the appeal.

We, therefore, condone the delay.

¶27

The interlocutory Application stands disposed off.

Registry to process the connected appeal and, if the same is found defect-free, shall list the same under appropriate heading, preferably on 20.07.2026.
