Heard Mr. MA Sheikh, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner.

This Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking deletion of the name of

the opposite party no.6 Shri Achyut Kalita, who is arrayed as respondent no.6 in

WP(C) no.3039/2020. Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that the writ petition was filed challenging the order passed by the Assam Board of Revenue and also the order passed by the Assam Board of Revenue in the Review application preferred by the petitioner. It is submitted that in the writ petition being WP(C) no.3039/2020, the present applicant/writ petitioner does not have any claim against the respondent no.6 and therefore, the name of the respondent no.6 may be deleted from the array of the respondents in WP(C) no.3039/2020.

Mr. SS Roy, learned Government Advocate, Assam representing the respondents no. 2, 3 & 4 and Ms. PR Mahata, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 does not object the prayer made.

Accordingly, Interlocutory Application stands allowed.

The name of Shri Achyut Kalita, who is the respondent no.6 in WP(C) no.3039/2020, shall stand deleted and the petitioner will file amended cause title before the Registry within a period of 2 (two) weeks from today.
