Heard Ms. P.M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicant and Ms. P. Borthakur, learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.1/Insurance Company.
The present application has been filed by the applicant/claimant praying for a direction to the Opposite Party No.1/Insurance Company to deposit 50% of the amount, which was awarded by the MACT, Kokrajhar in MAC Case No.13/2020 vide judgment and award dated 28.05.2025.
At the outset, Ms. P Borthakur, learned counsel for the respondent/Insurance Company submits that 50% of the awarded amount has already been deposited by the Insurance Company on 01.11.2025.
In view of the above submission, this interlocutory application has become infructuous.
Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands disposed of as having become infructuous.
