Heard Mr. M.U. Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicant.

In difference to the order dated 18.08.2025 passed in WP(C) No.4641/2025, whereby the petitioner was granted liberty to file an application seeking impleadment of his wife, who he claims that he has since divorced her pursuant to a deed of agreement. Accordingly, this interlocutory application has been filed seeking impleadment.

Mr. N. Goswami, learned Government Advocate represented the respondents Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5 and Ms. G. Hazarika, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department for the respondent No.2 do not object to the prayer made.

Since this Court by earlier order dated 18.08.2025 had already expressed a view that the wife is not a party respondent and had granted the petitioner liberty to file an application seeking impleadment the wife as a party respondent and as a consequence therefore, the Interlocutory Application has been filed accordingly, this Interlocutory Application stands allowed, the opposite party No.6 namely Tabassum Rizvi is arrayed as party respondent No.6 in WP(C) No. 4641/2025.

The petitioner will file amended cause title before the Registry within a period of two weeks and the writ petition be listed thereafter.

Accordingly, this interlocutory application disposed of.
