Heard Ms. M. Dev, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. D. Bora, learned Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent No.1; Mr. A. Chaliha, learned Standing Counsel, Health Department for the respondent Nos.2, 3, 5 & 6 and Mr. N. Barman, learned counsel for the respondent No.13.
2. Ms. Dev, learned counsel for the applicant submits that at the time of filing the connected writ petition, viz. WP(C) No.896/2026, inadvertently the Dental Council of India, which has been re-named as National Dental Commission, has not been made as party. She submits that the Dental Council

of India has been re-named as National Dental Commission, being the statutory regulatory body, is required to be impleaded as party respondent in the connected writ petition to place on record the correct regulation and to direct cancellation of illegal re-examination conducted by the College Authority in violation of the norms of the Dental Council of India as well as Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Science, Guwahati.
3. By filing this application under Order 1 Rule 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure, Ms. Dev prays for allowing her to implead the National Dental Commission as respondent No.15 in the connected writ petition.
4. The prayer so made by the learned counsel for the applicant has not been objected to by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
5. In view of the above, the prayer is allowed.
6. Let the National Dental Commission be impleaded as respondent No.15 in WP(C) No.896/2026.
7. With the above, this interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed off.
