Heard Mr. S.Z.B Aklas, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. J. Handique, learned Standing Counsel for Revenue Department.

The instant interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant for correction in paragraph No.2 of the order dated 06.04.2026 passed in WP(C) No.1986/2026. He submits that in paragraph No.2, the following has been written:- “The case of the petitioner is that the respondent nos. 4 and 5 evicted the petitioners from a portion of land measuring 3 Kathas out of the land measuring 1 Bigha 15 Lecha ........” However, he submits that by inadvertent mistake, the 3 Kathas is missing from 1 Bigha and 15 Lechas of land. Therefore, he submits that the aforesaid line should be corrected to the following effect:- “The case of the petitioner is that the respondent nos. 4 and 5 evicted the petitioners from a portion of land measuring 3 Kathas out of the land measuring 1 Bigha 3 Kathas and 15 Lechas, covered by Dag No.497, Patta No.169 situated at VillageKhutamari (KA), P.O and P.S- Agia, Revenue Circle- Balijana, MouzaBalijana, District- Goalpara, Assam, by destroying their dwelling house and the trees standing on the same land, illegally, without following the due process of law and thereafter, handed over the possession of the land to

private respondent No.7, in collaboration with other private respondents for their unlawful gain and interest.”

In view of the aforesaid, the instant interlocutory application is disposed of with the aforementioned correction at paragraph No.2. This order shall be treated as part of the order dated 06.04.2026 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.1986/2026.
