By filing this interlocutory application, the applicants, who are the appellants in the connected WA No. 8 of 2026, have prayed for amendment of the Memo of appeal by replacing ground No. II. It is submitted that due to inadvertence, an error has occurred in the presentation of ground No. II.

The prayer made in this interlocutory application is allowed. However, the Court permits the applicants to file an amended memo of appeal within a period of 2 (two) weeks.

Advance copies of the amended memo of appeal shall also be supplied to learned CGC as well as the learned Addl. Advocate General.

The Registry, on receipt of the amended memo of appeal, shall make a note of striking out the earlier memo of appeal on presentation of the fresh memo of appeal.

Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
