Heard Mr. B. P. Borah, learned counsel appearing for the accused applicant and Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner namely, Abhishek Bhattacharjee in connection with Bhangagarh Police Station Case No. 185/2025 registered under Section 61(2)/318(4)/336(3)/340(2)/341(4)/316(5) of the BNS, 2023.

On 18.09.2025 one Moa Kumzuk had lodged a written Ejahar before the Officer-in-Charge of Bhangagarh Police Station alleging inter alia that it was brought to the notice of the informant that somebody had forged his signature in their claim's approval note, in settling National Lok Adalat at MACT-1 on 13.09.2025. The informant further stated that he had sufficient ground to suspect that the present petitioner i.e., Abhishek Bhattacharjee, AM, working in the same department has hand in this particular matter.

A coordinate bench of this Court, on 28.11.2025, granted the privilege of interim pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) with one surety of the like amount along with certain conditions outlined in the order.

Mr. B. P. Borah, learned counsel for the accused applicant, submits that, in compliance with the interim pre-arrest bail, the accused applicant has already appeared before the investigating officer and has had his statement recorded.

confirmed that the accused applicant has indeed appeared before the investigating officer and his statement has been recorded.

In view of the aforesaid, this Court is of the opinion that the interim prearrest bail granted to the accused applicant should be made absolute. Accordingly, the interim pre-arrest bail granted to the accused applicant on 28.11.2025 is hereby made absolute, with the conditions stated in the aforementioned order.

In view of the above, the anticipatory bail application stands disposed of as allowed.
