2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of PRC No.407/2022 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Barpeta.

3. The charge sheet has been filed against the present petitioner and therefore, on 15.02.2024, this petitioner Nekib Alahi @ Nekibur Hussain was directed to appear before the trial court for seeking regular bail. But he did not do so. Rather, he filed the present petition.

4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides.

5. The petitioner has not complied with the direction of this Court. Hence, the present bail application is found to be not maintainable and stands dismissed and disposed of.
