2 . This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for anticipatory bail to the petitioner namely Sri Pankaj Das, who is apprehending

arrest in connection with Baihata Chariali P.S. Case No. 166/2026 registered under Sections 303(2)/ 317(2)/ 3(5) of the BNS, 2023, read with Sections 13(1) of the ACP Act and 11(1)(a/ 11(1)(d) of PCA Act.
3 . The case diary as called for has been received.
4 . As per the allegation, one vehicle transporting 26 numbers of cattle was intercepted by the police on 25.07.2026 and the driver of the vehicle was apprehended and during interrogation, he stated that he was funded by two persons one of whom is he present petitioner.
5 . The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not the owner of the vehicle or cattle and nor he is handyman and he is not connected with the alleged offences in any manner.
6 . The learned Addl. PP on perusal of the case diary submits that besides the above, there appears to be no other material against the petitioner.
7 . Having regard to the above, the prayer for bail is allowed. In the event of arrest, it is directed that the petitioner named above be released on pre arrest bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with two securities of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority in connection with the aforementioned case. It is provide that the petitioner shall appear before the I.O. within ten days from today and shall not induce or intimidate to any persons acquainted with the facts of the case, in any manner.
