Heard Mr. Khanikar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Deuri, learned Junior Government Advocate for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 6 and Ms. N. Phukan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos. 4 & 5.
Though, vide order dated 24.09.2025, the respondent authorities were directed to file their affidavit-in-opposition; yet, today, Mr. Deuri has produced one letter of the Additional District Commissioner, Hailakandi, dated 17.10.2025, and on the basis of the said letter, Mr. Deuri submits that since the O.M., dated 18.09.2024, has been interfered with by this Court; now, the respondent authorities will deal with the case of the petitioner, in terms of the Executive Order, issued by the Personnel (B) Department, vide No. ABP.107/2024/Pt/102, dated 30.08.2025.
Mr. Khanikar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner, in terms of the Executive Order, dated 30.08.2025, has already submitted his

application and relevant documents.
In that view of the matter, this Court is inclined to close this petition, by directing the respondent authorities to place the case of the petitioner before the next available DLC meeting.
The letter produced before the Court today shall be marked as ‘Annexure-A’ and shall be tagged with the record.
