Heard Mr. L. Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner.
By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent authorities to release the admitted bill amount of Rs.13,53,772.00 (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Fifty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Two only) due to the petitioner on account of higher charges of his vehicle.
Ms. U. Das, learned State Counsel by placing the communication dated 04.03.2025 submits that the claim amount has already been paid to the petitioner.
In view of above, the writ petition stands closed, as the petitioner has been paid the claim amount.
The petitioner may avail the appropriate remedy with regards to the disputed amount, if any.
The copy of the communication dated 04.03.2015 is kept on record and marked as document ‘X’.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
