Heard Mr. T. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. N. Bordoloi, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 and Ms. M. Barman, learned counsel appears for the respondent No. 3, 4 & 5.
On the last occasion, it was submitted that the issue raised in this writ petition are covered by the judgment & order dated 21.06.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 2700/2023. We have gone through the content of the writ petition and the order referred to. We are of the view that this issue raised in this writ petition is covered by the judgment & order dated 21.06.2024. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed on the same terms on which WP(C) No. 2700/2023 has been decided.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the order passed in WP(C) No. 2700/2023 did not discuss the judgment & order dated 04.05.2019 passed in Gunalata Das & Others -versus- state of Assam & Others, reported in 2019(4) GLT 17. We have seen that the judgment passed in Monisa Khatun (supra) has taken into
