By way of this application under Section 482 of CrPC, the petitioner seeks quashing of the proceeding of CR Case No. 2137/2017 pending before the Court of Munsiff No. 3 cum Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kamrup(M), Guwahati.
It appears that the matter pertains to 2018. However, on the last two occasions, i.e. 06.05.2020 and 17.12.2020, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
Since there has been no representation on consecutive dates, this criminal petition stands dismissed for non prosecution.
It is needless to clarify that the stay passed earlier by Order dated 14.08.2019 stands vacated and the further proceeding in CR Case No. 2137/2017 shall continue in accordance with law.
The Criminal Petition stands disposed of.
