Heard Mr. A. Sophie, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. N. Mozhui, learned counsel appears for all the respondents.

The learned counsel for the respondents has drawn my attention to the previous order dated 21.08.2025. It is reflected therein that vide letter dated 13.08.2025 issued by the Principal Director of the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Nagaland, Kohima to the Chief Medical Officer, Phek, it was informed that the Finance Department, Budget and Monitoring Cell had authorized the release of backwages amounting to Rs.1,46,088/- in favour of the petitioner for the period from 01.04.2022 to 31.03.2023. Accordingly, the said letter has been marked as document ‘X’.

Today, the learned counsel for the respondents submits after taking instructions regarding the updated status, that the said payment is confirmed and that the order dated 01.07.2024 passed in WP(C) 218/2023 stands complied.

The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the order passed in the writ petition stands complied.

In the given facts and circumstances, I deem it fit to close the contempt petition. Accordingly, the instant contempt petition stands closed and disposed of .
