Heard Shri Y.S. Mannan, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Shri P.K. Borah, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has however submitted that during the pendency of this contempt petition, an order has been passed by the Department on 10.06.2025. He submits that the direction of this Court has been complied with.
Let a copy of this order be furnished to Shri Mannan, the learned counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid development, this Court is of the opinion that the present contempt petition is not required to be continued any further and the same is accordingly closed.
However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, in case there is any grievance with the order mentioned above.
