Mr. A. B. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the directions contained in the order dated 05.02.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 1557/2023 has since been complied with and the petitioners do not wish to press the writ petition any further.

The learned counsel for the respondent has placed before the Court a communication dated 15.07.2025, whereby it is seen that arrear salary amounting to Rs.1.76901 lakhs has been released to both the writ petitioners.
In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in the matter, accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
