Heard Mr. R. A. Mazumder, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicants and Mr. T. J. Mahanta, the learned Senior Standing counsel assisted by Ms. D. Mahanta, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Gauhati High Court.

This is an application seeking correction of the judgment and order dated 30.10.2025 passed in WP(C) No.4759/2025 wherein this Court had referred in various paragraphs that the Respondent No.8 have been promoted vide the impugned order dated 01.08.2025.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicants drew the attention of this Court to the impugned order dated 01.08.2025 wherein one Smti Supriya Chakraborty was actually promoted to the post of Senior Administrative Assistant (formerly known as Upper Divisional Assistant). This Court has duly perused the impugned order dated 01.08.2025 and it is the opinion of this Court that there has been a mistake committed by this Court in the judgment and order dated 30.10.2025 passed in WP(C) No.4759/2025.

Taking into account that on account of a mistake committed by the Court, the litigants should not suffer, this Court therefore is of the opinion that this correction is required to be carried out.
