Heard Mr. P. Hazarika, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

By way of this interlocutory application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the new incumbents to the post of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force, Assam and I/C Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Legal Cell), Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Assam, in the accompanying contempt proceedings.

It appears that during pendency of the instant contempt proceeding, the contemnor/respondent Nos. 2 and 3 have demitted their office and thereafter it has become essential to inplead the new incumbents, i.e., Sri Sandeep Kumar, IFS, and Sri Muanthang Tungnung, IFS in the place of the said respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

In view of the aforesaid, it has become necessary and essential for impleading the aforesaid two new incumbents in the accompanying contempt proceeding for effective adjudication of the same.

Accordingly, the name of Sri Sandeep Kumar, IFS, and Sri Muanthang Tungnung, IFS, is impleaded as respondent Nos. 5 and 6 respectively.

Let an amended cause-title be submitted before the Registry of this Court for doing the needful within a period of 2 (two) days from
