Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Fajirul Hoque @ Papu, has prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Sootea P.S. Case No. 65/2025, registered under Section 69/74/3(5) of BNS, 2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted interim pre-arrest bail on 22.07.2025 and the case diary was called for which is not received today. On the earlier date also, the case diary was not received. It is also submitted that the Court may dispose of the matter.

Perused the FIR dated 13.06.2025; prima facie, it emerges that the parties had a consensual relationship, accompanied by promise of marriage. Subsequently, when the informant came to know about relationship with other girls, dispute arose between them and instant case was lodged. It is submitted that pursuant to grant of interim pre-arrest bail, the petitioner appeared before the investigating officer and statement recorded.

In the given facts and circumstances, the interim protection vide dated 22.07.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions – that he shall co-operate with remaining investigation and shall not intimidate or harass the informant/victim side.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
