2. The present application under Section 482 of the BNSS has been

filed by the petitioner/accused praying for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant in connection with the Dimapur West Police Station Case No. 022/2025 under Section 406/420 IPC. A Coordinate Bench, by Order dated 07.05.2025, granted interim protection to the petitioner with a condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigating agency.

3. Learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that subsequent to the interim order dated 07.05.2025, the petitioner appeared before the Investigating Officer. He was thoroughly interrogated and was released on interim bail. Taking note of the conduct of the accused in cooperating with the investigating agency this Court is of the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary for further investigation of this case.

Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed in terms of the interim order dated 07.05.2025 with a further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when called for and he will cooperate with the investigation and shall not tamper or hamper and influence any witnesses that may be vital for the investigation
