Heard Mr. N.K. Murry, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. C.S.

Hazarika, learned State Counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 5 & 6. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner at this stage, the writ petition is taken

up for disposal. Mr. N.K. Murry, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner retired from service on superannuation on 31.03.2024. He submits that

he was working as LNK, Armed Branch under the Superintendent of Police, Karbi Anglong, Diphu. He submits that despite retiring on the said date and despite the petitioner submitted his representation before the Superintendent of Police, Karbi Anglong, Diphu and also to the Director General Of Police, Ulubari, Guwahati, his representation has neither been considered nor disposed of by the said authorities and that his pension has not been disbursed till now. He submits that the respondent authorities may be directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a time frame. Mr. C.S. Hazarika, learned State Counsel has no objection to the prayer made.

In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director General of Police, Ulubari, Guwahati (respondent No. 5) to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner filed on 01.07.2024 on priority basis and within the outer limit of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this Order.

A copy of the writ petition be furnished by the petitioner to the Director General of Police, Ulubari, Guwahati along with certified copy of this Order.
