Heard Shri G.C. Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. M. Bhattacharyya, learned Addl. Senior Government Advocate, Assam.
Though the relief sought for in this petition pertains to a claim for payment of pension, it appears that there was a disciplinary proceeding which had culminated in an order of penalty dated 26.04.2024 and the subsequent action regarding pension is only a consequence of the said order. It however appears that the aforesaid order is not the subject matter of challenge in this petition.
The learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage prays for withdrawal of this writ petition with a liberty to file in a proper manner.
Writ petition is accordingly dismissed on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for.
