Heard Mr. D. Goswami, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file afresh.
Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner would be filing an application before the GMC authorities to change the Trade License from his father’s name to his name and also would be asking for renewal of the Trade License. He further submits that he would also like to make an application for impleadment/substitution in Appeal No. GCL/02/2017 which is pending before the Mayor-in-Council, Guwahati, as his father, who was the respondent expired on 07.12.2019.
Ms. S. Chutia, learned counsel appearing for the GMC submits that she does not have any objection to the prayer made by the petitioner’s counsel.
The prayer of the petitioner’s counsel is allowed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed
for.
