Heard Mr. B.K. Das, learned counsel for the appellant. We have also heard Mr. S. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Higher Education Department, Assam, appearing for the respondents.

This writ appeal is filed by the appellant being aggrieved with the order dated 19/07/2024 whereby, the learned Single Judge has allowed the I.A. seeking vacation of the interim order passed by this Court on 06/03/2024 in WP(C) No. 1309/2024.

The learned Single Judge after taking into consideration the fact that the select list, on the basis of which, appointments have been provided to the private respondents has attained finality as the challenge to the same has already been dismissed by this Court. The learned Single Judge has also observed that the appointment orders were issued to the private respondents before passing of the interim order.

The learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that as a matter of fact, the appointments were granted to the private respondents after passing of the interim order.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and after going through the materials available on record, we do not find any ground for interference in the impugned order passed by the learned Single Judge. However, the appellants are free to raise all the grounds available to them before the learned Single Judge at the time of final decision of the WP(C) No. 1309/2024.

With the above observations, the writ appeal is dismissed.
