Mr. P.D. Nair, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the State
respondents have come up with Draft Award No. 1/2024 dated 27.03.2024 and that approval to the Draft Award has been given by the State Government in the Revenue Department. He therefore submits that the petitioners would not like to press the
contempt petition in view of the said development. Ms. Zairemsangpuii, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 2 - 4, 8 - 11, 16 & 17 also submits that in view of the

approval given by the State Government to the Draft Award, the contempt petition may be closed.
Considering the above submissions and upon this Court being informed that the
Draft Award has been published and approved by the State Government, the contempt petition stands closed.
