Heard Mr. S. I. Akand, learned counsel for the applicant.
The present Interlocutory application has been instituted by the applicant, herein, praying for impleading “Shri Devashish Sharma, I.A.S., the District Commissioner, Morigaon District, Assam”, as the respondent no. 2 in the connected contempt petition being Cont.Cas(C)/33/2024.
I have perused the contentions so made by the applicant in the application and I am of the view that the official sought to be impleaded as a party respondent no. 2 is a person, who would be required to implement the directions passed by this Court, vide the order dated 01.09.2023 in WP(C)/5024/2023. Accordingly, the above noted official is permitted to be impleaded as respondent no. 2 in the Cont.Cas(C)/33/2024.
The Interlocutory application stands disposed of.
