Also heard Mr. P.Goswami, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 and Ms. Baby Laldinzuali, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Ms. Zairemsangpuii, learned CGC for the respondent No. 1.
Mr. P. Goswami, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 3 submits that by various correspondences dated 13.01.2024, 15.02.2024, 02.03.2024, 08.06.2024 and 15.07.2024 had requested the Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for approval for

payment of interest, solatium and other statutory liabilities amounting to Rs. 8,58,11,747/- till 18.03.2024 and to further approve for payment if in case, further demand is made by the land owners for payment of interest, solatium and other statutory liabilities in terms of this Court’s Order dated 08.11.2018. It appears that the Ministry of Home Affairs (respondent No. 1) is sitting silent over the matter as regards the payment of the awarded amount.
Before this Court considers taking action against the erring Officer in accordance with law, a last chance is given to the respondents to comply this Court’s Order dated 08.11.2018 in full spirit.
