Heard Mr. N. Mahajan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public prosecutor for the State of Assam.
This application has been filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for pre-arrest bail in respect of Tezpur P.S. Case No.425/2024.
Pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has Co-operated in the Police investigation. Since the petitioner has been co-operating with the Police Investigating Officer, he does not deserve to be detained in custody.
Therefore the his prayer for bail application is allowed.
The interim bail granted by this Court in 05.09.2024 is made absolute.
With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of.
Case Diary shall be returned.
