Mr. M.R. Khandakar, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the ex gratia amount in terms of the notification dated 15.11.2014 has been disbursed to the petitioner during the pendency of the writ petition. In such view of the matter, the petitioner does not want to press this writ petition.
Ms. S. Sarma, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 1, 4, 5 & 6 and Mr. A. Bhattacharjee, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department for the respondent no. 2 are present.
In view of the above submission made by Mr. Khandakar, learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
