Heard Shri B Purkayastha, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri B Kaushik, learned Standing Counsel, Secondary Education Department, Assam as well as Shri SC Keyal, learned counsel for the Assam University. Shri SK Das, learned counsel appears for the respondent no. 7.
Shri Purkayastha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, both the writ petitioner and the incumbents, who were made private respondents, have retired from service and therefore, the petitioner would not like to pursue this matter any longer.
The writ petition is, accordingly dismissed on withdrawal.
