Heard Mr. M A Islam, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent no. 1 and Mr. D A Kaiyum, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2.
Mr. Islam submits that he filed this criminal petition praying for quashing the FIR. According to Mr. Islam, in the meantime, Police submitted charge sheet against the petitioner. Therefore, he has filed another criminal petition praying for quashing the charge sheet.
Further, Mr. Islam has submitted that he intends to withdraw this criminal petition by which he has challenged the FIR only.
After hearing the learned counsel for both the sides, prayer of Mr. Islam is allowed.
The present criminal revision petition stands disposed of on withdrawal.
