By this interlocutory application, the applicant has prayed for correction of typographical mistake in the trial case No. ‘PRC Case No.16 of 2021” in place of “PRC Case No.19 of 2021” that has been crept up in the Synopsis, Cause Title, Para No. 2, Para No.4 and Prayer No. (ii) & (iii) in the connected Criminal Petition No. 360/2023.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the averments made in paragraph 3 of the application which is extracted herein below:
“3. That the said errors are due to typographical mistake while performing copy & paste in the computer and the numerical figure “16” has been written instead of “19” committed due to the bonafide mistake at the time of filing of the said case. Unless the said numerical figure”16” has been corrected by rectifying as “19” an irreparable loss and injury shall cause to the petitioner.”
In view of the above facts, the prayer for correction is hereby allowed.
Accordingly, “PRC No. 16 of 2021” shall be read as “PRC No. 19 of 2021” in the Synopsis, Cause Title, Para No. 2, Para No.4 and Prayer No. (ii) & (iii) in the connected Criminal Petition No. 360/2023 henceforth.
The interlocutory application stands disposed of.
