Heard Mr. Angshuman Bora, learned Senior counsel for the appellant.
This is an appeal against the Judgment & Order dated 07.02.2023 and the Sentence Order dated 08.02.2023 in Case No. SR (PCA) No. 4/2012 passed by the Court of Special Judge, Prevention of Corruption Act, Mizoram, wherein the appellant was sentenced to undergo 1 (one) year imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 10 lakhs, in default another imprisonment for 5 (five) years, on his conviction under Section 420 r/w 120B IPC and on his conviction under Sections 467/468/471 r/w 120B IPC to undergo 1 (one) year imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 10 lakhs, in default another imprisonment for 5 (five) years. The terms of sentences imposed is to run concurrently.
Admit the appeal.
Issue notice upon the respondents through registered post with A/D within 3 days, returnable by four weeks.
List the matter after 4 (four) weeks .
In the meanwhile, LCR is to be called for.
