Heard Ms. S. Das, the learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has sought certain corrections in the order dated 06.02.2023 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2044/2019. She submits that the following errors which is of trivial kind and have crept in inadvertently. In paragraph-4, the year of the birth of the petitioner has been written as 1997 which should be 1987.

In paragraphs 5, 7 & 9 of the order, the word “Superintendent of Police (B)”, would mean “Superintendent of Police (B), Goalpara”. Further, in the cause title, the name of the father of the petitioner has been written as “Herez Mandal” which should be “Harez Mandal” and in this connection, the learned counsel has referred to the cause title in the petition.

Shri A. I. Ali, the learned Standing Counsel, Election Commission of India does not oppose the said prayer, as the error appears to have crept in due to inadvertence. He further submits that the corrections are based on the materials which are part of the writ proceeding.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that in the array of parties, Superintendent of Police (B), Bongaigaon has been mentioned which should have been Goalpara.

After hearing the parties and in view of the above, the order dated 06.02.2023

stands corrected to the following effect:-

The year of birth of the petitioner appearing in paragraph-4 as 1997 should be read as 1987.

The reference to Superintendent of Police (B) in paragraph nos. 5, 7 & 9 would be of the Goalpara district.

The name of the father of the petitioner which has been written as Herez Mandal should be Harez Mandal.

So far as the prayer regarding description of the Superintendent of Police (B) written as Bongaigaon in the Cause Title, the same should mean the Superintendent of Police (B), Goalpara.

This order may be read as a part of the order dated 06.02.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 2044/2019.
