The accused petitioner is behind the bar since 17.02.2023, i.e. for 80 days.

The matter relates to sexual assault on the minor victim, aged about 7 years, by the accused petitioner.

On perusal of the case diary including the statement of the victim recorded u/s 164 Cr.P.C., it appears that there is prima facie implicating material against the accused petitioner. Medical report reveals injury on the private part of the minor victim, aged about 7 years.

Having heard the learned counsel of both sides and perusal of the case diary, this Court is of the opinion that it is not a fit case to grant bail to the accused petitioner.

In the premises, the bail application stands rejected.
