Heard Mr. T. Chutia, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.
It is submitted by Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor that on completion of investigation, charge-sheet being Charge-sheet No. 18/2023 dated 28.02.2023 has been submitted in connection with Bokakhat P.S. Case No. 147/2022 under Section 13(1) of the Assam Cattle Preservation (Amendment) Act, 2021 read with Section 11(1)(d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960.
Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application is closed. The petitioner may appear before the competent Court before whom the charge-sheet has been submitted by the I/O within 15 days from today and apply for regular bail, if so advised. Till then, the interim pre-arrest bail granted to the petitioner be extended.
