2.1. When on 30.04.2016, the petitioner was medically examined at the Unit Hospital, 40th Assam Rifles C/o 99 APO, the doctors examining him found the petitioner’s blood sugar level high and the same were recorded as F BS – 148.7 mg/dl & PP BS – 261 mg/dl. The blood pressure levels of the petitioner were recorded as 144/94 mm of Hg. He was thereafter, referred for further medical investigation. The petitioner was subsequently examined on 19.05.2016 at the 5 Air Force Hospital. On 19.05.2016, the disabilities of the petitioner were recorded as [i] Type-II DM [Diabetes Mellitus] and [ii] Primary Hypertension after medical examination. As per the Medical Board Proceedings dated 06.06.2016, the disabilities of the petitioner were recorded as [i] DM Type-II and [ii] Primary Hypertension. The petitioner was placed in Medical Category P3 [T-24] w.e.f. 19.05.2016 for both the disabilities viz. [i] DM Type-II and [ii] Primary Hypertension, subject to approval of higher medical authorities. The petitioner was again medically examined on 11.11.2016 for the said two disabilities at the 5 Air Force Hospital. In the Medical Board Proceedings dated 16.12.2016, the petitioner was upgraded to Medical Category P2 [T-24] w.e.f. 11.11.2016, subject to approval of the Higher Authority and the Composite Category was mentioned S1H1A1P2[T-24]E1.
