By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks for setting aside the application status as on 07.09.2022 providing that the application of the petitioner was rejected. It is stated that the Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari had refused to provide the petitioner with the OBC(NCL) certificate.

During the pendency of the writ petition, an order dated 28.10.2022 of the Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari had been produced, by which it is provided that the petitioner be issued the appropriate OBC(NCL) certificate and accordingly, the said certificate had been issued to the petitioner.

In view of the factual aspect that the OBC(NCL) certificate had been issued to the petitioner, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and the writ petition stands closed.

The authorities may now act on the OBC(NCL) certificate issued by the petitioner.
