Heard Mr. D P Chaliha, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. M Roy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. P Saikia, learned Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent No. 1. Also heard Mr. R Mazumdar, learned Standing counsel, Education Department, Assam for the respondent Nos. 2 to 4.
Petitioners are Assistant Teachers in M.E. Schools in the district of Dhemaji since the venture stage of their respective schools.
However, their services were not brought under provincialisation under the Assam Venture Educational Institutions (Provincialisation of Services) Act, 2011 amended in 2012 as well as the Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teacher and Re-

organization of Educational Institutions) Act, 2017.
As such, the petitioners prayed before this Court for a direction to the respondents to forward their case for necessary consideration before the High Power Committee.
During pendency of this writ petition, the petitioners preferred the connected Interlocutory Application being I.A.(Civil) No.3261/2022 praying for withdrawal of this writ petition.
Learned counsels for the respondents have no objection for withdrawal of the present writ petition.
Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal.
For the reasons above, the connected I.A.(Civil) No.3261/2022 accordingly stands allowed.
