Heard Mr. A.Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G. Bokolia, learned Govt. Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 and 5. Mr. A. Phukan, learned standing counsel, General Administration Department for the respondent No. 2. And Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

Petitioner’s father while serving as Assistant Teacher in Mahmora Balijan High School died-in-harness on 16.01.2015. After the demise of his father, the petitioner made an application for appointment on compassionate ground. The case of the petitioner was placed before the District Level Committee and the DLC in its meeting held on 17.11.2015 recommended the case of the petitioner against 169 Nos. of vacancies for the year 2012-13. However, petitioner is aggrieved inasmuch as his case has not been considered by the State Level Committee till date.

Considering the submission made, this writ petition is disposed of directing the State Level Committee to consider the case of the petitioner, if not already considered, and thereafter, pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. If the case of the petitioner has been considered by the State Level Committee,

the minutes of the consideration by the State Level Committee shall be furnished to the petitioner.
