Heard Mr. A Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. S Dutta, learned Standing counsel, P&RD Department, Assam for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 & 6.

Paschim Mangaldai Anchalik Panchayat, Banglagarh on 25.04.2022 issued an NIT for settlement of Bazar/Ghat/Min Mahal etc. under it for the period from 01.07.2022 to

30.06.2023 including the Banglagarh Weekly Cattle Market under Aulachauka Gaon Panchayat at Government value of Rs. 25,30,000/-, fixing earnest money of Rs. 2,53,000/-, wherein 02.00 PM of 09.06.2022 was fixed as the last time and date for submission of the bids.

The petitioners are intending bidders and on 11.05.2022 they filed a representation before the Executive Officer cum Member Secretary, Paschim Mangaldai Anchalik Panchayat, Banglagarh stating that the minimum Government value fixed by it for the said Banglagarh Weekly Cattle Market at Rs. 25,30,000/- is exorbitant and without any basis and accordingly requested the said authority to fix the Government value at Rs. 6,00,000/-.

It is stated that said representation of the petitioners dated 11.05.2022 is pending for consideration.

After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of at the motion stage itself, directing the Executive Officer cum Member Secretary, Paschim Mangaldai Anchalik Panchayat, Banglagarh, respondent No. 6 to dispose of the said representation of the petitioners dated 11.05.2022 (Annexure- 7 to this petition) on or before 08.06.2022, subject to furnishing a certified copy of this order by the petitioners along with copy of the writ petition including the Annexures appended thereto, obtaining necessary acknowledgment from the said authority in that regard.

With the above observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
