Heard Mr. J I Borbhuiya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S M T Chistie, learned Standing counsel, Secondary Education Department for the State respondents.
Matter pertains to compassionate appointment of the petitioner under the die-in-harness scheme of the State.
On instructions of the petitioner, Mr. J I Borbhuiya, learned counsel submitted that during pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has already been appointed as a Grade-IV employee on compassionate ground by the respondent authorities. As such, this writ petition as has become infructuous, petitioner is not pressing the same.
Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed being infructuous.
The interim order passed earlier on 23.09.2020 stands vacated.
